Position Overview:The Data Officer is responsible for gathering, consolidating, validating, and maintaining data from various departments and systems. The officer ensures data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting to support organizational objectives and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from multiple departments and digital platforms.
• Produce accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports and management dashboards.
• Monitor key operational, commercial, and supply chain metrics and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyse commodity, farmer, inventory, sales, and marketplace data to generate actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across company reporting systems.
• Support management, investor, donor, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Work with department leads to improve data collection processes, reporting standards, and performance visibility.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of reporting tools and business intelligence systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualisation skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, SQL, or similar analytics tools is an advantage.
• Experience in agribusiness, supply chain, fintech, marketplace, or technology-enabled businesses is preferred.
